Does carb. need adjustment?

I have a 87 Force 125. I did a little setup work on it over the winter, mainly adjusted the throttle pickup point cam and did a preliminary adjust of the idle setings.Took it to the water yesterday. It started o.k. and seem to idle fine, (the idle speed may be just a bit low)so I didnt want to push my luck and screw around with the idle.When I get it just a little bit above idle speed, it seems to stutter until I get the speed up a little bit more.It seems to plane up pretty good, and seems to run realy well at W.O.T Could this low speed glitch just be an idle adjustment problem?
Thanks

Hello Aswered Prayer;
When you had the carbs off did you make sure that the intermediate openings that are usually located just ahead of the throttle plates when closed were clear? These openings take the place of an accelerator pump that is common to 4 strokes. You may be able to open the throttle plates and run a small piece of wire in them to clean them without removing the carbs.
Maybe this will help
