Does I/O prop fit outboards?

I just inherited a couple of 17-inch pitch props from a Mercruiser I/O. They do not fit my 1975 Merc 850 OB. The outer hub diameter is a bit too large and it hits the lower housing.<br /><br />Does anyone know if these will fit other Merc Outboards?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />Skooks

They should fit the larger Merc OB's like the V6's.<br /><br />If you want to sell them, put them in the iboats ads. 17's are pretty popular.<br /><br />Good luck!

I have used several on my 300hp merc (3.4L big block) with no problems.

Yup - they fit more motors and drives.<br /><br />State the number from the prop and a cross ref. can be made.
