Does my motor have points or a trigger???

I have a 1988 Force 50 hp outboard and I was wondering if it took points or used a trigger. The Model# is:508V8C. I'm confused which it has because when I looked it up on two differrent websites, I got two diffeent answers.

That's great! I was worried I'd have to deal with changing points. Thanks for the help.
