does "Requires hub kit for installation" mean "quick change compatible"?

I'm replacing the existing 14.5 P19 on my Mercruiser 4.3 .... the old one worked fine (before the rocks).

I have a quick change hub on now. I just want to make sure I ask the right question and don't buy a prop that won't work. Listing says: "Requires hub kit for installation. Compatable with most hub kits on the market (Mercury, Quicksilver, Michigan Wheel, etc.)"

If the picture shows the rubber gasket - I believe that's a fixed hub and it wont work in the quick change... correct?

Thanks.

I believe the quick change is the black plastic hub you buy to mount the prop.
The older props will still work on the drive you have.
Just make sure the thrust hub is the right one.

On the thrust washer being the right one Jerry mentioned, there are 2 ways you can tell. First the prop seats up into the housing and doesn't contact it. Second, with the prop nut secured, you have a few threads extending on the prop shaft behind the nut. That's about it.
