Does the "search" work?

Since I've joined this site using the "search" option has never worked. When I put something into the search box and hit "go" the screen goes blank as it looks like it doesn't completely load. I've waited long periods for the page to pop up, but it doesn't. I've hit "refresh" and waited. I've tried using "advanced" or at different spots from the forum. I've tried short phrases and long phrases.
I'm using high speed DSL so that isn't an issue.....ideas??

Works fine. It could be your browser. I use 3 browsers and each one has quirks. Chrome is my favorite however things that I want to do on iboats are limited and at times I must change browsers to make things work.

A few hints about the search...... it hates 3 letter words or smaller....... when looking for specific terms be sure to place them in quotes " " or you make get too many hits.

Chrome 'used' to be my favourite also, but I've moved to Mac and Chrome is in Beta.

I tried quotes and it worked!....but then it hung again on the fourth search....hmmmm.

I'm agreeing that it 'might' be my engine. (using safari although I'm not a huge fan of it). I'm reluctant to put multiple engines on this computer....think I'll wait it out for Chrome to offer their version for Snow Leopard.

Anyone else using safari?
