Re: DOLE FLUID PRODUCTS

I have a problem with my Dole Fluid trim and can only hope that 35 cents will fix it. The red fluid is leaking from the side of the pump opposite of the handle. The exact location is where the pin sticks out of the side and is held in place by a washer clip.

Do I have a seal or o-ring leak and if so, where is it located? Also, can the handle be remove from the unit to clean/replace the debris and seals inside?

The unit is leaking on this side where the round pin is shown on the side.

I have seen them and actually installed one myself, years ago.

They are incredibly simple.

There is nothing "special" in them. Any hydraulic shop will have the seals and o rings you may need. They will have to match them up so disassembly is needed first.

Have you ever disassembled one? If so, can the handle pin be removed from the unit?

CMC and Dole built very similar items. CMC caught on. this was before the manufacturers, started installing TNT. that it to a Hydrolic shop. they can fit it, rather than you screwing it up. it is just based on a hydrolic jack.
