Keep up the good work don - I have learned a lot just from reading your posts. Once again you are right in that we should also thank people like Bond-O and Walleye. If they don't pay yall to post on this site they really should. Your wealth of knowledge is what keeps me comming back to the site and has resulted in me making purchases from thier site.

Hey guys....remember sometime back, I posted that you all were more than welcome to send monetary donations for all the great advice that Don gives, in care of me. As Don's too busy preparing for his move to Washington, I'll do all the "paperwork" for him and I'll be surrrrrrre he gets it.

(Seriously Don, thanks man)

Ditto... from Vancouver Island!

It's easy sometimes - in the heat of frustration with a boat problem - to take for granted this forum and all the good people (like Don) who selflessly give much of themselves to help others.

Don, you are a credit to the power-boating community, and the American people. My hat is off to you!

Cheers,
Terry

Re: Don S ,A boat owners salvation

Don is an amazing source of information and has helped me through many repairs with his expert advice in the last few years. This forum is an invaluable asset to any DIY who is trying to keep thier boating experience affordable. My hat is off to him and guys like Bond-o who also regularly offer great advice.
If I knew Don's address I would galdly send him some of his favorite beverage as a thank you. He has saved me hunderds of $$$ in labor charges that I may have paid if he had not helped me through my issues.

Although Don's favorite Outdrive is not an OMC, the powerplant is a Mercruiser. He has answered countless questions I have had about the Engine with clear concise no BS answers. Without his help and help from others below, this project of mine would be no fun at all. Hoorah Don!
