Need some info on 2 barrel mercarb 92 model. I downloaded the manual u have on the stickies.. It has some good info but figured u might have somemore detailed info on setting idle mixture for fast idle. Thanks don.. I posted some info on what i had going on figured u may have seen it if not .

I have a 92 3.0 mercruiser alpha 1 gen 2 with est ign. First the boat wants to cut out when giving full throttle and then accelerates great. I have to keep boat idle around 1100 rpm. If i turn down idle screw to 800rpm when warm it will not restart when cold, i have to turn it back up to start. Choke, butterfly seems to be working correctly. I set the choke to one notch to the right of center notch, and mixture screw is turn out 1 1/4 turns timing is set to 1deg btdc. . Im not sure how to set anything else on carb. Any info would be great....

I think you need to read the timming proceedire very carefully and copy it down on paper and follow it to a T and make sure your timming is set o spec if not you could have all sorts of issues w/ your timming advancing correctly. You could also have something clogging you fuel circuit within your carb and or lines,pump and pick up tube in the tank.
