19543A10 is the Mercruiser number for the shift cable assembly.<br />What is the numbers of the cables that have been sent to you?

I ordered sierra parts to save a few bucks and they sent cross referenced stuff I have never heard of. Tommorrow I am sending it all back and cancel my card payment. Ill order that number and hopefully be fishing by the fourth of July. Thanks

I have had 2 lower shift cables sent to me and neither are right. Would you by chance know the part number? 120 mercruiser- 1985 Alpha 1

the last one was JMS46-00048 That was the kit number. This is getting ungodly frustrating. The ends do not look the same. The kit said replaces Merc number 46-44292A4

Ahhhhh. good ole aftermarket stuff don't fit. Imagine that...<br />The good news is, I already gave you the part number of the cable you need.

you gave them the wrong merc number if you cross the number that don gave you you will get a cable that works. should be 18-2190 for sierra, Malory is a new aftermarket co. which a few old sierra guy's started they have a nice replacement cable. I took it and twisted it in a 8 inch circle and the core slid just as smoth if it was straight. there realy isnt much difference in cost between OEM and after world over the counter. what is 20.00 anyway!
