Don't forget DST

Daylight Savings Time this sunday at 2 am. Push the clocks ahead one hour. I didn't realize it was that close to that time of year again.<br /><br />Is Indiana included now?

JB, I'm sorry, that was a sarcastic remark. <br /><br />Wasn't Ben Franklin the one who originated the idea, or is that another myth? I know FDR had it instituted during WWII to give more light for war production.

I heard that next year, DST is going to start a month later and end a month earlier, but I could be wrong.<br /><br />Craig

To what I understand 79Merc, it is the other way around. It is to give us more useable daylight hours, so it is a month earlier and a month later.

Means an hour more ca ching for me.<br />My job is to oversee construction...These contractors and their subs go until they can no longer SEE -- and then, sometimes, when the bottom-line would otherwise suffer, they break-out the flood lights.<br />Given the option of salary and houlry rates of pay, i chose hourly. Methinks i made the right choice!
