I'm deciding between the Mako 191 and the 1901. Do I need a power steering, 115 optimax, jack plate, ect? This will be my fist boat and I live in San Antonio, TX. Will be doing some bay and also bass fishing in the lakes. Can some of you more experience guys give your input? Thank you.

I would not think you'd need power steering for a 115.

I just got back from Choke Canyon and I really need a trolling motor!! Should I let the shop install it or should I try it myself? The boat is already pre wired. Pics are coming gentlemen!!

Just to let you know, you have to have permission to view the pics on the other site. Being in Wyoming I don't need to join the Texas forum just to see the pics.

In answer to your question on the trolling motor installation. It depends on how handy you are if you feel that you can do a quality installation if the wiring is already there. If you feel the dealer can do what you need done, your choice.

Once it is done just enjoy the heck out of it.

I can't get at that site either. :(

Down load and install IrfanView. It's a free image editting program that is easy to use and is quite powerful. Go to http://www.irfanview.com.

Once you have the images resized open an account at an online host, like photobucket or imageshack and then post the links here. :)
