I am having trouble getting engine clean of water that leaked into oil in 1975 GM 225 OMC V8. It wasn't stored properly and water got in the carb and ran into 2 of the cylinders. After thoughouly cleaning carb, manifold and, valve channels, it purs like a kitten, but after changing one round of hideous looking chocolate shake oil, I am having problems pumping out the oil I just changed it with. Seems there is an obstructiong in the dipstic preventing me from sucking out the oil. Possibly old emulsified oil that settled to the bottom of pan and is now congealed enough to prevent it from being pumped out. I am worried about running the engine to warm it up enough to see if that fixes it, can I do this and just keep an eye on the temp?

Thanks.
