I’m sure glad I raised my kids to spend wisely.
In fact sometimes I think they are to tight
I’m thinking back to a day we were in the toy store and my daughter was showing me a cool toy and I told her she could get it. She said it’s to expensive I just wanted to show it to you. The lady next to us was like omg I have never heard of a kid say that good job dad. They still have have train of thought. If they don’t feel they can afford it they won’t buy it.

Having both grown up in modest homes, Mrs. Dingbat and I are finding a huge disparity between what we deem "spending wisely" verse our Millennial and Gen Z kid's with 3X the income.

While i do buy a lot of crap, I hugely enjoy the hunt of being cheap to the point where it can irritate my wife.

Both boys were raised my Mrs redneck when she was going thru some troubled times and always knew that. Even after she and I got together and we're making obama rich money for awhile they never did ask for much h and not the are both married to RNs who make really, really good money and both boys do well, their spending is very thoughtful. Zero concerns with them financially.
