Down the home stretch

OK got the ignition bugs chased out, motor started in the bucket and idling pretty good, got a fair flow of water out where it’s supposed to be coming out, BUT she tries to die when I try to put her in gear. Gave it some gas, and slooooooowly the revs build up, but she didn’t sound right. She starts immediately, so I’m thinking that the points are gapped close to right, but who knows. Any ideas on where to start looking?<br /><br />Thanks.
