Do any members know what happened to www.boaterssupply.com? They had a great range of parts, and also allowed the home mechanic to download diagram images.

If they have closed shop, does anyone know of a similar site?

Re: Downloading Diagrams

I'm afraid it's gone and there's none other like it. There are merc sites, but no (newer engine) OMC sites.

Re: Downloading Diagrams

What a great pity! My outboard is a 1988 Johno 8 HP. When you say there are no newer engine sites, is there perchance a site covering 1988 models? Thanks for the info Paul.

I ment since the '40s. Other than getting a manual, you could try posting your email address here in the hopes someone will send a page to you.

Good luck!

Downloading copyrighted material is illegal, Bruce.

This practice is getting a lot of attention lately.

You are a lot better off just buying a manual.

http://www.boatmotors.com/manuals.html

Good luck. :)
