downloading update to lgc2000

trying to download with the new lgc-2000 1.7 code to my 332c . i put the card in the unit, followed instructions on lowrance web site. when the file comes up and i try to hilite the lgc-200 luf line, the blue hilite color turns to a light gray and is unresponsive to the 5 presses of the wpt button.instead of beeps, i get buzzes! no progress bar shows. am i doing something wrong, or is this the units way of telling me the correct update is already in the unit? once again thanx in advance....Bill

I think you need to talk to teck support there may be a problem because you did the updates out of order<br /><br />The LGC needed to be done first then the GPS<br /><br />tommays

i didn't need to update the 332, as it is already in the unit. i checked as to "how to see if your lms-332c is already using version 1.6.0 software" as outlined in the instructions. i still think i'll call tech support as suggested.are the instructions for this unit confusing to more fisher people than just me? thank for the tip tommas.
