I see that I made the same mistake others have made. Greasing my gimbal bearing in my new to me boat, I pulled the zerk and black plastic tube out of the gimbal bearing housing when the tip of my grease gun had too tight of a grip on the zerk. Looked at several schematics to find the parts online to replace them and I can't seem to find the right one (or anyone for that matter)

Anyone know the part number or can at least point me in the right direction to find the replacement parts for my issue. Need the 4 inch or so black plastic tube and a new zerk fitting.

Thanks in advance!

So I answered my own question. The parts were found on the schematic of the transom shield.

So, now to replace the part I see the service manual recommends.
a) apply Volvo pants gasket sealing compound...to the last 1/4 inch of the grease fitting end of the tube.
b) apply loctite primer
c) apply thread locking fluid

My last question. In "a)". I presume the sealing compound is used on the inside of the tube to help seal the zerk fitting?
