DPS-A loose tubing

Got the boat back from workshop - and a small piece of tubing looks like this. Can't imagine it to withstand any speed over couple knots. What is it and what should I do with it, tuck it into the opening somehow?

Who worked on the boat and what was done to it?

It could be the pitot tube for the speedo, but it seems a little large. Can't really tell what size it is.

The DPS-A has a small black piece of tubing (pitot tube) that is in that area. Usually what happens is the little piece of plastic barb on the drive breaks and the tube hangs down I just clipped it shorter. No need for it.
That white piece of tubing looks like someone has replaced the pitot tube. If so it's to long
