Hello,
I am about to winterize my engine (Merc 90hp 3 carb).
I have mixed a tank of fuel with fuel stabiliser, but I understand there will be some fuel still in the carb bowls, lines etc etc. I want to remove the carb bowl bung, but I see in the manual the main jet is also with this bung. If I remove that, will it stuff up the jet settings????
I'd prefer just to let it run for a time on muffs to let the fuel run through the system. How long would it need to run to ensure the fuel system is flushed with the treated fuel??
Thanks,
Donald.
