Drain Plug won't work...Help

Hey guys. I bought my Bluewater 18' runabout and got it home and ready to go. One problem. It didn't come with a drain plug. I went up to my local one-stop-shopping store and they just had a couple drain plugs that were 1 inch and had the rubber plugs instead of threads. The diameter of the drain plug on this boat is slighly smaller than the one on this 1" snap drain plug. Those 1" plugs were about all I saw in the boat accessories section there. Am I missing something or do I have an unstandard boat here? Any help guys? Thanks

Jeff

Does your boat have a threaded drain?
Probably need to go to a boat supply store to get one.
Or a hardware store and use a pipe plug.

If not threaded, just a little small, how small?

This type:
http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...n plug&**********=820790064&*******=718131146

Will work in slightly smaller drains. You can turn the t-handle and loosen it up, insert, turn till tight.

Search for "drain plug" in the iboats mega mall and you will find many many plugs.

That T-drain plug is very similar to the one I purchased from my sporting good store. My hole is slightly smaller, maybe 3/4 to 7/8 diameter I'm guessing? And yes, it is threaded. Thanks Roscoe.

OK. Disregard post. Roscoe's trick did it. I looked on the website and saw a Garboard Drain Plug kit that looked exactly like my flange. I went up to my local boat shop and found a Garboard Drain Plug and it fits. So I'm good to go. Thanks Roscoe.

Jeff
