Drastic drop in pitch needed?

At 1500 ft of elevation you're losing about 7% of engine performance compared to sea level performance. If a doel fin does not ride parallel to water level same as boat while on plane will experience unwanted drag on fin, speed will be slowed down a bit, tiller will turn heavier to steer, lower leg will drop performance at close tight turns Doel fins can turn into huge garbage, debris collectors. These issues are very notorious on portable engines.
