I have bayliner with 3.0 mwrcruiser and alpha one. Today after i got out of the water and while unscrewing drain plug i heard hissing sound and saw dark green oil dripping. I drove home and checked drive lube tank. It was empty. I have filled with drive lube and after minute it was again leaking. With a flash light i did inspection and looks like one of the rubber hoses has puncture. It looks like its not by fitting its in the midlle of the hose. How hard is to replace this hose. I cant reach with my fingers where the fitting is. Do i have to take off a lot of stuff in order to get there. Thanks in advance.

you do have to do some disassembling and be very careful about breaking the nipple at the transom

I have replaced hose without disasembling anything. Just raised the drive and with exacto knife taped on long screw driver, i was able to slice hose and pull it out. Got another hose from autozone for 8 bucks and put it back. Used zip ties to secure. I dont understand why everybody are suggesting to take drive out and bunch of other stuff when its easy to do without removing anything.
