DRIVE SHAFT BENT!

I can't seem to get the drive shaft out of the lower unit. I must be doing something wrong. I have a Chrysler 140hp. I thought it would slide right out. What holds it in place? <br /><br />Thanks a million!

Hello beaz20<br /> There is a nut on the end of the drive shaft that holds the pinion gear on. You will have disasemble gear housing via prop shaft.
