Drive Shaft Pits and h20 in gear oil???

I have pits in the drive shaft close to the water pump seals. I beleive this is allowing water in the oil and there is oil on the pump. <br /><br />Is there anyway to repair the pits without replacing the drive shaft?

Will these pits cause oil leaks and allw water into the oil??

Yes, the pits will Chew the Seals right out....

YES, It'll Eat the Seals Right Out in a matter of Minutes..!!!!!!!<br />There is NO Band-Aid Fix....
