get a weight lifting weight ,bigger the better,slide it on the shaft,then take a couple pair of vice grip pliers,tighten to the shaft and use the weight against the pliers as a slide hammer

PATIENCE. Turn the mtr upside down and squirt ATF or PB blaster in the upper d/s area and let it set for a day and then give it some more. Then tap d/s side to side and then more additives .Then put a vice grip around the d/s shaft and hang it upside down with the weight of the mtr pulling on it. Once in awhile just tap the p/h with your hands. It may just break loose. Remember, we're only dealing with 2 hp here.
