Driveshaft to Crankshaft Spline Wear

Manual says to replace with "excessive wear", no real spec's/tolerances given otherwise...........I guess I don't see this as "excessive" yet but, looking for experience with where that is.........0.001"? 0.01"? Anyone have a spec?

This is measuring at 0.014"

Very normal.-----Any grease on it when you took it apart ?-------You will need to use some grease on assembly.

Yeah, I lithium'd it when i dropped the motor on it few years back, it was still wet'ish. I dried it off for the glamour shots.

Thx RO, appreciate your input......Sounds perhaps a rule of thumb thing, where have/do you replace? 0.020"? 0.030"? ???
