driving in circles

I was helping a friend replace a steering cable, afterwards wentto the water. It started pulling realy bad to the right. I cant figure out why what else should i look for? thanks for the input.

did it pull to the right before you changed the cable?

i think your problem is elsewhere

if you have a bent skeg it would cause it to pull.

if your trim tab isnt adjusted correctly, or is missing, it could pull.

if your motor isnt centered or is mounted crooked it could cause it to pull.

i dont know of anything you could do wrong to the cable to make it pull....... weight distribution could also cause it to pull.

Thanks for the list the only thing i can think of i did not do is shift the motor to the right. I guess i will try tha and see if that works i,ll let you know the outcome.
