'95 115 Johnson 60 degree--I removed old regulator to replace with new and noticed that it looked bone dry even though I had run the motor 20 minutes earlier. I just got the motor a month ago or so from tenesse so I assume it was run in fresh water, point being-I tasted the residue on the old regulator and it was not salty at all even though I run it in salt water. Seems like its not getting wet. Water indictator shoots a country mile. Would a block vent be in order? Could the water pump be bad and still show reeal!! strong? Feedback much appreciated, thanks

That tell-tail stream show's that water is being pumped, at least to that tell-tail stream. I have seen engine's to hot to touch, but have a strong indicator stream. That is what the hot horn is for. Ckeck the block temperature on both sides, top to bottom.
