I have a 1991 dt115 when it idles in the water it misses (doesn't do this when it's on the hose). It runs fine for about 3 seconds then you hear a "pfffft" interrupt the rhythmic popping of the engine, and it may or may not stall completely. It does this in gear too until you get up to about 1000 rpm at which point and above it runs like a champ. I just replaced all the plugs, had the compression checked in january and it was within requirements and within 1 or 2 psi difference between all 4 cyl's. The carbs were also rebuilt in january. The old plugs did have a little oil on them when i took them out, but as i recently bought the boat i don't know how long they were in there. Oh, and hot or cold makes no difference, it does it regardless. Any ideas?
