I Have A (white In Colored) Cabera Suzuki El85 Sn#8501 820382
That Will Only Run At 3000 To 3200 Rpm Right Now On A 1987 24 Foot Godfrey Pontoon But It Used To Top Out At 5000 To 5200 Rpm And I Have Replaced Fuel Lines And Fresh No Ethanol Premixed High Octane Gas (oiler Was Remover At Dealer When The Prior Owner Had It) Replaced Plugs(ngk) , Waterpump, Removed/cleaned Carbs And Bowls I Also Have Ran Schaeffer's Fuel Cleaner In It Many Times Now And Yes I Used Compressed Air In The Carb Cleaning.
When I Got This Boat I Could Pull A Slalom 200 Pound Skier Out Of The Water Like A Big Dog (lots Of Power For This Large Vessel)
Then One Day And Only When In A Sharp Right Turn It Seemed Like It Was Starved For Fuel (power Loss) Then The Problem Slowly Migrated Too 3 Min. At Wot Or Just After Warming Up These Symptions Started. It Don't Smoke Much It Dont Sneeze And At 3000 Rpm Is Sounds Ok But I Do Have To Keep Backing Off Of The Throttle To Get It Run Good At 3000 Rpm
Now With Someones Great Knowledge Maybe I Can Get Some Ideas On How To Go Right To The Problem And Not Throw Parts And Money At It Till It Runs Good
