I've not seen one but one could certainly be fashioned without much fuss. The reasons for doing this however would be in question. For example, two 40# motors would draw about 80 amps. Whereas one 80# motor operating on 24 volts would draw far less than that. So there is no reason to attempt this. The same logic applies to twin outboards. Twins and triples are used on todays boats because a single engine is not available with the necessary power, or there may be a need to use just one for trolling but both are needed to plane the boat. If you are old enough, you may have seen some older boats powered by two 35 HP engines for example. That's because there were no 70's available.
