Dumb question about my 1995 Mercury Tracker Pro Series 115hp outboard....

These motors ARE two strokes, right? I know they have oil injection but I wasn't sure if that was for the combustion or lubrication. Plus, I want to make sure I order the right Clymer manual for it.

Yes, 2 stokes. The oil is for lubrication, but as the oil is mixed with the petrol in order to get to the bearings etc, it will end up in the combustion chamber and be burnt.

Plus, I want to make sure I order the right Clymer manual for it.

Bad choice!

Better to get the genuine Merc manual... much better.

Chris, thanks so much for making the manual available. I've just gotten a '95 125 Mercury for which it will be very useful! I also have an '86 60hp Merc (3 cyl), do you happen to have that manual?
