Dumb question where is the oil filter on a Merc 5.0?

I have a Bayliner Classic 2450 which I got 1 year ago. When I got it the mechanic where it was stored at changed the oil. I changed the oil today and for the life of me can't find the filter! It sure is frustrating!

Left side rear down low, next to the oil pan unless it has a remote filter

Thanks for the reply! I found it but my arms are to big to get down there. Have to pay my mechanic to do it!

If you have the mechanic install a remote oil filter, it will be positioned to where you can get it the next time
