Duo prop boaters - Is "roostertail" typical?

Hello iboats forum. I recently bought my first duo prop boat. I notice that while on plane it throws up small roostertail just behind the transom. Not like you see on a trimmed out bass boat but just a short tail at any speed on plane. As I trim out it actually gets smaller, but doesn't completely go away, My question is - is this typical? The boat runs and rides fine. Here's a link to a video clip of it. Thanks!

100% normal...most recreational hulls will do this till they actually get up on "pad"..the reason it gets smaller as you trim outis less hull and drive in water.

That doesn't have anything to do with the duprop, that's from the ventilation plate, maybe the trim lines or how the manufacture setup hull and drive height. Need a camera to have a look

My Rinker (B1 drive) does about the same thing, and after buying I asked the dealer about it. They said it was water hitting my trim lines. They adjusted them up a bit more and its less, but still see some.

Mmm. Not seen that with any of the original to boat VP DP I’ve had or been on. I’ve only been on or had these on larger cruisers though.
I’d maybe ask if this drive has been fitted aftermarket and perhaps positioned too low ?
