I would like to install a stable back seat with a back support on my 14 ft Duroboat. I believe just tap and screwing down into the existing bench seat would be easy but would rip out. I am on the Pamlico river which can be rough at times. I am thinking of removing the bench to install a stainless mounting plate on the underside so I can bolt the seat through the bench and stainless plate. Any suggestions?
