I ran across a E225TXCUB that has just over 500 hours on it and has been in storage for the last 14 years. Been very well taken care of when it was used and current compression numbers are 120 on 5 cylinders and 125 on the 6th. Starts right up on muffs. No option to put it in the water and really run it. Can pick it up for next to nothing. What should I be worried about if I take a chance on this motor ?

Install a new impeller.-----Change gear oil.-----Then see if oil injection is hooked up or bypassed.------Run at 50:1 and verify oil injection is working before running straight fuel.

So other than the general maintenance, dont be scared and run the crap out of it ay ?
