when started motor runs wide open. checked fuel (ok)checked elect primer(ok)replaced carb gasket(ok)only way to stop engine is turn off key and open throttle wide open. engine is 1998 2cycle. any help is appreciated

where is inner throttle cabel located

Inside the cable .----It is the part that moves.----I can not see your motor.----Does throttle arm on the side of engine block move when you operate the control ?----Does timer base under the flywheel rotate ??

not sure about timer base not familure with it. throttle arm does move

only problem last year was it would not idle without dieing

You have something very strange going on.

If you can post a video of the carbs opening and closing with the motor off.
