I recently bought a 1996 e112 for 100 bucks there was water in it and the crank is toast block is good. I've heard 88 thru 115 cranks can be interchanged but I'm not sure if the year matters. I can get a 1989 e 88 with a good crank but the part number is different than the 96 e112. I see that pre1992 88 thru 115 crank numbers are differtn than 92 thru 96, can anyone tell me if i can put an old crank in that newer motor? thanks in advance
