Earn 25 horsepower 1988 Force clogged water system

I have a 1988 125 horsepower Force how bored the water flow is clogged I do not know how to unclog I dropped the foot and connected hose directly to tube and have very little water flow through engine so how do I unclog the engine please help me

You will not get much water flow since the thermostat is closed preventing the flow of water.

the high temperature alarm went off amd still no water

Check the water pump impeller. It may need to be replaced. Might also check the thermostat and see if it is opening up.

Back flush thru the thermostat housing.

Or start tearing it open.

Pull the thermostat and check for corrosion and gunk clogging the passages.

Depending on the serial# you might have the pressure relief system, maybe not?
The early 88 models had it the later models didn't??
If it's clogged and not opening? you won't get a lot of flow with the hose.
