Earth wire

Hi,Could someone tell me how to identify the earth wire from a Yamaha115hp outboard, 1993, because I want to set-up twin batteries and I need the earth wire to connect to the VSR or it says it will not work properly,

Earth, ground - same thing. It's usually black and it ALWAYS connects to the negative battery post.

Thanks for that Dunaruna, now I can finish the wiring and no more flat battery when i need it,
