Easy Main Jet Question

On my 25, 2-stroke, I am aware that there is a 25, and a 25 marathon. Mine has a wmc carb (WMC 46) with the .076in jet, I noticed the WMC 46A-54 carb had the .080in jet for the Marathon/Seapro. If I were to get the $4.00 jet and install it in my carb, what difference would it make? Would I need to change anything?

None as both are 25 hp engines, the difference is the shaft lenght and usually long shafts run a tad richer jet than short or standard shafts....

Thanks Alot.....now I have another question, why do they have a long shaft running richer than a short shaft?
