Eaton's Viking outboard

I just bought a boat and an outboard motor.<br />The outboard is I think is an Eaton's Viking.<br />It's a 5 hp twin.Made in Canada<br />Model # C2G7<br />Serial # 00004353<br />Can anybody tell me the year,color and how I can get a service manual for it.<br />Thankyou

Todgil - the C2G7 was built by Gale Products, a division of OMC. It was built from '46 to '50 and sold to various retailers. It shares most of the same parts (minus trim) with a similiar year Johnson/Evinrude of the same HP, so parts are not too hard to find and a Johnson/Evinrude manual will work for you. Iboats carries manuals that cover those years, and your local library may too.<br />I don't know what colour they painted them for Eaton's.<br />Hope this helps!
