Ebay Help

OK,<br />I listed my first items for sale on e-bay. I selected for the auction to begin right away. There is a balance on my PayPal account. However, when I search and bring up my name, it doesn't show the auctions. It says I have 0 items for sale. In "MyEbay" I see the auctions listed, however they are listed as "Currently not selling"<br /><br />?????<br />Help, what did I do wrong!!<br /><br />AK Chappy

Never mind.<br />I guess e-bay must have to approve the item or something.<br />Took it about 2.5 hours to show up, but they finally did.<br /><br />AK Chappy

Yep...sometimes it takes a while for it to show up in searches.

When you list auction they take time to show up even when looking up your name . However....if you go to "MY EBAY" and click item for sale or item pending you will find it qas soon as it is listed.

Delay can be up to 6 or 8 hours.<br />If you search with the actual auction item number, you can see it right away.

Depends on what you are selling and what your selling history is for how long it takes for a listing to go up. When I first started selling, it would take almost a day for a listing to be found with the search... now, it's instant. Just took time to build up the account.
