ebay prop

i recently bought a prop on ebay for a great price the guyt said it should fit a alpha 1 the prop is a 13.5x18p 4 blade stainless it says "mach" in the hub the numbers on the prop are 2353 N

i recived the prop it is the right diameter and pitch and the splines right but the hub diameter is slightly smaller(see picture) what would be the problams with running this prop

my boat is an 89 18ft celeberty br181 4.3l alpha1

yes i know that prop is dirty it will see good cleaning and polishing very soon

Yes, the prop will fit as you now know. But - the small hub props at 13 1/4" diameter were designed to work with the 4 1/4" gearcases. Your gearcase is the 4 3/4" style. It fits but it may not work well, just have to run it and see.

The Mach props were props from the old Second Effort shop. The Garbreths are nice folks.

Ayuh,... My Guess is,.. That's a prop for a midsized outboard...

They use 4" gearcase,+ the Large outboards,+ outdrives use a 4, 1/2" gearcase...

That prop Won't work on your drive.... It'll ventilate, Badly...
