yes I did too! I had an acount that I only used on Ebay! But I did have a problem with PayPal for awhile!! If you have money in your paypal acount and if you select payment options to pay for something you bought and if you are a verified member, and you want to pay for it by Credit Card and not your checking acount they will take the money out of your checking account anyway!! The only way you can pay by credit card if you have a checking acount listed is to transfer all your money from the PayPal acount into your checking acount first, then it will come out of you credit card! Its really screwy the way they have it set up! I did it the way they said to do it, but sometime between the time I transfered the money from my PayPal acount to my checking acount someone sent me some money which made it so the money came out of my checking acount and I got about three overdraws before I caught it! Luckily the bank understood and I didnt have to pay the overdraws!<br /><br />Man, thats confusing!!<br /><br />LubeDude

LubeDude, not true.....when going through the normal procedures of payment, there is a funds option-very small print-click on this and you can select CC, or your Bank account. The only time you don't have a choice is when you have money in your paypal account when paying that way, it comes from that balance first, then you have the option of CC., or bank account, whichever you choose.......funding options, it's titled..

Don't know about the rest of you, but I keep a seperate checking account for my online activities with EBay/PayPal.<br /><br />This way if I get hosed, it's not coming out of my main bank.<br /><br />I had an issue once with PayPal, and they locked the account down hard. A simple error, but it took a week or so to clear up.<br /><br />H.

I was on the phone time and again tring to get them to change there policy about this! I told them that BY G*d if I wanted to pay by CC and had money in my PayPal acount that I should be able to do it! They said that they were sorry but that was the way they did it! Ill guarentee you that if you have money setting in your PayPal account and you click on that link to pay by CC, they will not only take all the money out of your PayPal account, (Providing there isnt enough there to pay for the item) they will take the rest out of your checking account!
