Hi guys, Im working on sending an unmanned boat to map the substrate of a water. I have a transducer (B75H Airmar). My question is what echo sounder is most preferred with this transducer?. I need to be able to send the data captured by the echo sounder wirelessly. Do you have any recommendations for me?.

Best Regards ??rarinn ?rni from Iceland.

The airmar B75H is a pretty generic spread spectrum transducer. It will work with a number of CHIRP sounders depending on the connector wired on the end of the cable.

thorarinnp, I actually researched your transducer and I can tell you a lot of Depth Locators sell that same transducer. And it isn't cheap either. It is in the $600 dollar range and up. And depending on the model, it is used in 130-210 khz range and can be either a 9 degree, 12 degree, or a 20 degree cone setup. And it is good 'til around 1000 feet as well. So most any depth sounder that can produce those frequencies could be used. The one I checked on is recommended for use with a BSM-3 broadband sounder module. SonarHub sounder and NSS Evo2 multifunction display. So I would call or contact a few depth locator manufacturers to see if it could work with their products. JMHO
