Ok here's the scoop I have a 1990 50hp johnson with VRO that wouldn't run so I rebuilt the carbs then it ran fine until I ran wide open. It started pulsing then died. Sooo I disconnected VRO went to standard vacuum pump, new plugs, new filter, and new fuel hose. I adjusted the floats twice and it kept pulsing but bogging as well. Now ever since I rebuilt the carbs when I pump the ball it runs perfect.. EDIT Lol any body know what I should do now please help! Thank you!

The only thing I can think of is it's the fuel pump.

or a bad fuel line connection..

Or air leaking into the fuel line or connectors.

Thanks guys I'll order all new fuel lines and clamps

make sure you replace the connectors also..
