I was just in a topic where one of the replys appeared to make reference to Jesus, only the name Jesus had been edited out. What's up with that? I can understand plain bad language being edited out. I just used explitives like @*$#. But, how is the name of any person, be he a savior or regular guy an offense to anyone. I'm not a terribly religeous person, but the names Mohammed, Buda, Jahova and Confucious do not offend me. Do they offend any of you out there?
I don't want to start any holy war conversations. I'm just curious! I'd like to hear any other points of view. Please!

They don't offend me. To each his/her own.

Don't know what post you are talking about, but they don't bother me none.

The only name that bothers me is when someone calls me late for supper

JoeW.

Please Email iboats with a specific question and identify the post you refer to and it will be looked into. I have not seen the post you refer to.

I doubt that any moderator here would do what you suggest.

Thanks. :)

LubeDude,
Wanna hear an even bigger cawinkidink? I volunteer as a tour guide at the last Nike Missile site SF88L, a Cold War museum in the Marin Headlands. Now I'm a "pit rat" again, only for free this time and I like it. How times change.
Which SF site did you work on? Have you been to the museum yet?
I was in West Germany 1976-1979 on an above ground site.
-Joe

I was stationed on the Presideo! (Country club of the Army! We traveled around to all the sites around there to do maintenance on the nuclear warheads! Never saw one up close that was in one peice, You guys always had them apart and in the inspection room when we got there! I had the easy job, with our little white suits and all!

No, never been to the Museum, would like to some time!
