elbow to exhaust manifold gaskets?????

ok ive got a problem ........ i have a 1974 888 mercruiser i recently bought the boat from a guy and well first time i took it out blew a head gasket so now after completely tearing down the motor and rebuilding it . i have come to the exhaust manifolds and im stuck i cant for the life of me remeber how the gaskets are supposed to go and the plate in the middle i have the plate with one hole in back and a wheep hole on other side . i figured id better stop and get some help cause i dont want to do this again

From what I see you need two pieces which are item 18 and 19. Align the weep hole with the slot so some water and air can pass. The bottom pick shows water circulation flow and the main source of water out the exhaust comes from the thermostat housing to the elbow
