The only thing that works is the main stuff... none of the extras work, ie, Captains call, depth finder, radio, 12v outlet, etc.... I have checked all the fuses I can find and reset every reset button I can find and nothing... I have learned that if I hook a jump start up to the jumper connections under the back seat next to the battery switch everything works.... but it will not work on the battery alone.... battery is new and fully charged.... the reset next to the battery switch under the back seat is not tripped either... can't find any lose cables anywhere... Any ideas where to check next????

Sounds like you're Missing the connection between the Battery Switch,+ the Extras..........

Is the Battery Switch,.. Switched Right,..??....

"jumper connections???
if you hook there and it works, then "there" is not connected to the main battery source. if this is a second battery then the battery is dead

Many boat manufacturers put a fuse, or circuit breaker near the battery switch that protects power going to the accessory panel at the helm. It usually controls power to everything except the engine inst. the ignition, and trim.
Depending on the age of your boat, it may have been changed by a previous owner, so you may just have to search the wires and find where the fuse (or corroded terminal, bad connection, broken wire etc.) is that causes the power to stop.
Time to get the meter and start checking.
